¹ THE sons of Leviy; Gershon, Qohath, and Merariy.

² And the sons of Qohath; Amram, Yitshar, and Chevron, and Uzziy'el.

³ And the children of Amram; Aharon, and Mosheh, and Miryam. The sons also of Aharon; Nadav, and Aviyhu, El`azar, and Iythamar.

⁴ El`azar begat Piynechac, Piynechac begat Aviyshua,

⁵ And Aviyshua begat Buqqiy, and Buqqiy begat Uzziy,

⁶ And Uzziy begat Zerachyah, and Zerachyah begat Merayoth,

⁷ Merayoth begat Amaryahu, and Amaryahu begat Achiytuv,

⁸ And Achiytuv begat Tsadoq, and Tsadoq begat Achiyma`ats,

⁹ And Achiyma`ats begat Azaryahu, and Azaryahu begat Yochanon,

¹⁰ And Yochanon begat Azaryahu, (he it is that executed the priest's office in the Temple that Shalomah built in Yerushalayim:)

¹¹ And Azaryahu begat Amaryahu, and Amaryahu begat Achiytuv,

¹² And Achiytuv begat Tsadoq, and Tsadoq begat Shallum,

¹³ And Shallum begat Chilqiyahu, and Chilqiyahu begat Azaryahu,

¹⁴ And Azaryahu begat Serayahu, and Serayahu begat Yahutsadaq,

¹⁵ And Yahutsadaq went into captivity, when Yahuah carried away Yahudah and Yerushalayim by the hand of Nevukadne'tstsar.

¹⁶ The sons of Leviy; Gershem, Qohath, and Merariy.

¹⁷ And these be the names of the sons of Gershem; Livniy, and Shim'iy.

¹⁸ And the sons of Qohath were, Amram, and Yitshar, and Chevron, and Uzziy'el.

¹⁹ The sons of Merariy; Machliy, and Mushiy. And these are the families of the Leviyiym according to their fathers.

²⁰ Of Gershem; Livniy his son, Yachath his son, Zimmah his son,

²¹ Yo'ach his son, Iddo his son, Zerach his son, Ye'atherai his son.

²² The sons of Qohath; Ammiynadav his son, Qorach his son, Acciyr his son,

²³ Elqanah his son, and Evyacaph his son, and Acciyr his son,

²⁴ Tachath his son, Uriy'el his son, Uzziyahu his son, and Sha'ul his son.

²⁵ And the sons of Elqanah; Amasai, and Achiymoth.

²⁶ As for Elqanah: the sons of Elqanah; Tsuph his son, and Nachath his son,

²⁷ Eliy'av his son, Yerocham his son, Elqanah his son.

²⁸ And the sons of Shemu'el; the firstborn Vashniy, and Aviyahu.

²⁹ The sons of Merariy; Machliy, Livniy his son, Shim'iy his son, Uzza his son,

³⁰ Shim'a his son, Chaggiyah his son, Asayah his son.

³¹ And these are they whom Daviyd set over the service of song in the house of Yahuah, after that the Ark had rest.

³² And they ministered before the dwelling place of the Tabernacle of the assembly with singing, until Shalomah had built the house of Yahuah in Yerushalayim: and then they waited on their office according to their order.

³³ And these are they that waited with their children. Of the sons of the Qohathiym: Heyman a singer, the son of Yo'el, the son of Shemu'el,

³⁴ The son of Elqanah, the son of Yerocham, the son of Eliy'el, the son of Toach,

³⁵ The son of Tsuph, the son of Elqanah, the son of Machath, the son of Amasai,

³⁶ The son of Elqanah, the son of Yo'el, the son of Azaryahu, the son of Tsephanyahu,

³⁷ The son of Tachath, the son of Acciyr, the son of Evyacaph, the son of Qorach,

³⁸ The son of Yitshar, the son of Qohath, the son of Leviy, the son of Yashar'el.

³⁹ And his brother Acaph, who stood on his right hand, even Acaph the son of Berekyahu, the son of Shim'a,

⁴⁰ The son of Miyka'el, the son of Ba`aseyah, the son of Malkiyahu,

⁴¹ The son of Ethniy, the son of Zerach, the son of Adayahu,

⁴² The son of Eythan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shim'iy,

⁴³ The son of Yachath, the son of Gershem, the son of Leviy.

⁴⁴ And their brethren the sons of Merariy stood on the left hand: Eythan the son of Qiyshiy, the son of Avdiy, the son of Malluk,

⁴⁵ The son of Chashavyahu, the son of Amatsyahu, the son of Chilqiyahu,

⁴⁶ The son of Amtsiy, the son of Baniy, the son of Shemer,

⁴⁷ The son of Machliy, the son of Mushiy, the son of Merariy, the son of Leviy.

⁴⁸ Their brethren also the Leviyiym were appointed unto all manner of service of the Tabernacle of the house of Elohiym.

⁴⁹ But Aharon and his sons offered upon the altar of the ascending smoke offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Yashar'el, according to all that Mosheh the servant of Elohiym had commanded.

⁵⁰ And these are the sons of Aharon; El`azar his son, Piynechac his son, Aviyshua his son,

⁵¹ Buqqiy his son, Uzziy his son, Zerachyah his son,

⁵² Merayoth his son, Amaryahu his son, Achiytuv his son,

⁵³ Tsadoq his son, Achiyma`ats his son.

⁵⁴ Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aharon, of the families of the Qohathiym: for theirs was the lot.

⁵⁵ And they gave them Chevron in the land of Yahudah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.

⁵⁶ But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Kalev the son of Yephunneh.

⁵⁷ And to the sons of Aharon they gave the cities of Yahudah, namely, Chevron, the city of refuge, and Livnah with her suburbs, and Yattiyr, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,

⁵⁸ And Chiylen with her suburbs, Deviyr with her suburbs,

⁵⁹ And Ashan with her suburbs, and Beyt Shemesh with her suburbs:

⁶⁰ And out of the tribe of Binyamiyn; Geva with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

⁶¹ And unto the sons of Qohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Menashsheh, by lot, ten cities.

⁶² And to the sons of Gershem throughout their families out of the tribe of Yisshakar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtaliy, and out of the tribe of Menashsheh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

⁶³ Unto the sons of Merariy were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Re'uven, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zevulun, twelve cities.

⁶⁴ And the children of Yashar'el gave to the Leviyiym these cities with their suburbs.

⁶⁵ And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Yahudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Shim`on, and out of the tribe of the children of Binyamiyn, את these cities, which are called by their names.

⁶⁶ And the remnant of the families of the sons of Qohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephrayim.

⁶⁷ And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shekem in Mount Ephrayim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,

⁶⁸ And Yoqme'am with her suburbs, and Beyt Choron with her suburbs,

⁶⁹ And Ayalon with her suburbs, and Gath-Rimmon with her suburbs:

⁷⁰ And out of the half tribe of Menashsheh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bil'am with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Qohath.

⁷¹ Unto the sons of Gershem were given out of the family of the half tribe of Menashsheh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs:

⁷² And out of the tribe of Yisshakar; Qedesh with her suburbs, Daverath with her suburbs,

⁷³ And Ra'moth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:

⁷⁴ And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with her suburbs, and Avdon with her suburbs,

⁷⁵ And Chuqqoq with her suburbs, and Rechov with her suburbs:

⁷⁶ And out of the tribe of Naphtaliy; Qedesh in Galiyl with her suburbs, and Chammon with her suburbs, and Qiryathayim with her suburbs.

⁷⁷ Unto the rest of the children of Merariy were given out of the tribe of Zevulun, Rimmon with her suburbs, Tavor with her suburbs:

⁷⁸ And on the other side of the Yardan by Yeriycho, on the east side of the Yardan, were given them out of the tribe of Re'uven, Betser in the wilderness with her suburbs, and Yahats with her suburbs,

⁷⁹ Qedemoth also with her suburbs, and Meypha`ath with her suburbs:

⁸⁰ And out of the tribe of Gad; Ra'moth in Gil'ad with her suburbs, and Machanayim with her suburbs,

⁸¹ And Cheshbon with her suburbs, and Ya`azeyr with her suburbs.
