THEN Elyashiyv the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they built the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Me'ah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Chanan'el.

But the fish gate did the sons of Cena'ah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

And next unto them repaired Merayoth the son of Uriyahu, the son of Qots. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berekyahu, the son of Mesheyzav'el. And next unto them repaired Tsadoq the son of Ba`ana.

And next unto them the Teqo'iym repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their Adonai.

Moreover the old gate repaired Yahuyada the son of Paceach, and Meshullam the son of Becodeyah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

את The valley gate repaired Chanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoach; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.

But את the dung gate repaired Malkiyahu the son of Rekav, the ruler of part of Beyt Hak-Kerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

But את the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Kol-Chozeh, the ruler of part of Mitspah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and את the wall of the pool of Shiloach by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of Daviyd.

After him repaired Nechemyahu the son of Azbuq, the ruler of the half part of Beyt Tsur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of Daviyd, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.

After him repaired the Leviyiym, Rechum the son of Baniy. Next unto him repaired Chashavyahu, the ruler of the half part of Qe'iylah, in his part.

After him repaired their brethren, Bavvai the son of Chenadad, the ruler of the half part of Qe'iylah.

And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Yeshua, the ruler of Mitspah, another piece over against the going up to the armory at the turning of the wall.

After him Baruk the son of Zakkai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Elyashiyv the high priest.

After him repaired Merayoth the son of Uriyahu the son of Qots another piece, from the door of the house of Elyashiyv even to the end of the house of Elyashiyv.

After him repaired Binyamiyn and Chashshuv over against their house. After him repaired Azaryahu the son of Ma`aseyahu the son of Chananyahu by his house.

After him repaired Binnuy the son of Chenadad another piece, from the house of Azaryahu unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.

Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lies out from the king's high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedayahu the son of Par'osh.

Moreover the Nathiyn dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lies out.

After them the Teqo'iym repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lies out, even unto the wall of Ophel.

After them repaired Tsadoq the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shema'yahu the son of Shekanyahu, the guarder of the east gate.

After him repaired Chananyahu the son of Shelemyahu, and Chanun the sixth son of Tsalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berekyahu over against his chamber.

After him repaired Malkiyahu the goldsmith's son unto the place of the Nathiyn, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphqad, and to the going up of the corner.

And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
