¹ AND the rulers of the people dwelt at Yerushalayim: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Yerushalayim the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.

² And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Yerushalayim.

³ Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Yerushalayim: but in the cities of Yahudah dwelt everyone in his possession in their cities, to wit, Yashar'el, the priests, and the Leviyiym, and the Nathiyn, and the children of Shalomah's servants.

⁴ And at Yerushalayim dwelt certain of the children of Yahudah, and of the children of Binyamiyn. Of the children of Yahudah; Athayah the son of Uzziyahu, the son of Zakaryahu, the son of Amaryahu, the son of Shephatyahu, the son of Mahalal'el, of the children of Perets;

⁵ And Ma`aseyahu the son of Baruk, the son of Kol-Chozeh, the son of Chazayah, the son of Adayahu, the son of Yoyariyv, the son of Zakaryahu, the son of Shiloniy.

⁶ All the sons of Perets that dwelt at Yerushalayim were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.

⁷ And these are the sons of Binyamiyn; Callu the son of Meshullam, the son of Yo'ed, the son of Pedayahu, the son of Qolayah, the son of Ma`aseyahu, the son of Iythiy'el, the son of Yesha`yahu.

⁸ And after him Gabbai, Callu, nine hundred twenty and eight.

⁹ And Yo'el the son of Zikriy was their overseer: and Yahudah the son of Cenu'ah was second over the city.

¹⁰ Of the priests: Yeda'yah the son of Yoyariyv, Yakiyn.

¹¹ Serayahu the son of Chilqiyahu, the son of Meshullam, the son of Tsadoq, the son of Merayoth, the son of Achiytuv, was the ruler of the house of Elohiym.

¹² And their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred twenty and two: and Adayahu the son of Yerocham, the son of Pelalyah, the son of Amtsiy, the son of Zakaryahu, the son of Pashchur, the son of Malkiyahu,

¹³ And his brethren, chief of the fathers, two hundred forty and two: and Amashcai the son of Azar'el, the son of Achzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,

¹⁴ And their brethren, mighty men of valor, a hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zavdiy'el, the son of one of the great men.

¹⁵ Also of the Leviyiym: Shema'yahu the son of Chashshuv, the son of Azriyqam, the son of Chashavyahu, the son of Bunniy;

¹⁶ And Shabbathhai and Yozavad, of the chief of the Leviyiym, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of Elohiym.

¹⁷ And Mattanyahu the son of Miyka, the son of Zavdiy, the son of Acaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Baqbuqyah the second among his brethren, and Avda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Yeduthun.

¹⁸ All the Leviyiym in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.

¹⁹ Moreover the porters, Aqquv, Talmon, and their brethren that did guard the gates, were a hundred seventy and two.

²⁰ And the remnant of Yashar'el, of the priests, and the Leviyiym, were in all the cities of Yahudah, everyone in his inheritance.

²¹ But the Nathiyn dwelt in Ophel: and Tsiycha and Gishpa were over the Nathiyn.

²² The overseer also of the Leviyiym at Yerushalayim was Uzziy the son of Baniy, the son of Chashavyahu, the son of Mattanyahu, the son of Miyka. Of the sons of Acaph, the singers were over the business of the house of Elohiym.

²³ For it was the king's commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.

²⁴ And Pethachyah the son of Mesheyzav'el, of the children of Zerach the son of Yahudah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.

²⁵ And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Yahudah dwelt at Qiryat Arba, and in the villages thereof, and at Diyvon, and in the villages thereof, and at Yeqavtse'el, and in the villages thereof,

²⁶ And at Yeshua, and at Moladah, and at Beyt Pelet,

²⁷ And at Chatsar Shu'al, and at Be'er Sheva, and in the villages thereof,

²⁸ And at Tsiqlag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,

²⁹ And at Eyn Rimmon, and at Tsor'ah, and at Yarmuth,

³⁰ Zanoach, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lakiysh, and the fields thereof, at Azeqah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Be'er Sheva unto the valley of Hinnom.

³¹ The children also of Binyamiyn from Geva dwelt at Mikmash, and Ai, and Beyt-El, and in their villages,

³² And at Anathoth, Nov, Chananyahu,

³³ Chatsor, Ramah, Gittayim,

³⁴ Chadiyd, Tsevo'iym, Neballat,

³⁵ Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.

³⁶ And of the Leviyiym were divisions in Yahudah, and in Binyamiyn.
