1 THESE are the sons of Yashar'el; Re`uven, Shim`on, Leviy, and Yahudah, Yisshakar, and Zevulun,
2 Dan, Yoceph, and Binyamiyn, Naphtaliy, Gad, and Asher.
3 The sons of Yahudah; Er, and Onan, and Shelach: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Kena`aniyth. And Er, the firstborn of Yahudah, was evil in the sight of Yahuah; and he slew him.
4 And Tamar his daughter in law bore him Perets and Zerach. All the sons of Yahudah were five.
5 The sons of Perets; Chetsron, and Chamul.
6 And the sons of Zerach; Zimriy, and Eythan, and Heyman, and Kalkol, and Darda: five of them in all.
7 And the sons of Karmiy; Akar, the troubler of Yashar'el, who transgressed in the thing accursed.
8 And the sons of Eythan; Azaryahu.
9 The sons also of Chetsron, that were born unto him; Yerachme'el, and Ram, and Keluvai.
10 And Ram begat Ammiynadav; and Ammiynadav begat Nachshon, prince of the children of Yahudah;
11 And Nachshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Bo'az,
12 And Bo'az begat Oved, and Oved begat Yishai.
13 And Yishai begat his firstborn Eliy'av, and Aviynadav the second, and Shim'a the third,
14 Nethan'el the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15 Otsem the sixth, Daviyd the seventh:
16 Whose sisters were Tseruyah, and Aviygayil. And the sons of Tseruyah; Aviyshai, and Yo'av, and Asah'el, three.
17 And Aviygayil bore Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Yether the Yishma'e'liy.
18 And Kalev the son of Chetsron begat children of Azuvah his woman, and of Yeriy'oth. her sons are these; Yesher, and Shovav, and Ardon.
19 And when Azuvah was dead, Kalev took unto him Ephrathah, which bore him Chur.
20 And Chur begat Uriy, and Uriy begat Betsal'el.
21 And afterward Chetsron went in to the daughter of Makiyr the father of Gil'ad, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bore him Seguv.
22 And Seguv begat Ya'iyr, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gil'ad.
23 And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Ya'iyr, from them, with Qenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Makiyr the father of Gil'ad.
24 And after that Chetsron was dead in Kalev Ephrathah, then Aviyahu Chetsron's woman bore him Ashchur the father of Teqoa.
25 And the sons of Yerachme'el the firstborn of Chetsron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bun'ah, and Oren, and Otsem, and Achiyahu.
26 Yerachme'el had also another woman, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27 And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Yerachme'el were, Ma`ats, and Yamiyn, and Eker.
28 And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Yada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadav, and Aviyshur.
29 And the name of the woman of Aviyshur was Aviyhayil, and she bore him Achban, and Moliyd.
30 And the sons of Nadav; Celed, and Appayim: but Celed died without children.
31 And the sons of Appayim; Yish'iy. And the sons of Yish'iy; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Achlai.
32 And the sons of Yada the brother of Shammai; Yether, and Yonathan: and Yether died without children.
33 And the sons of Yonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Yerachme'el.
34 Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, a Mitsriy, whose name was Yarcha.
35 And Sheshan gave his daughter to Yarcha his servant to be his woman; and she bore him Attai.
36 And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zavad,
37 And Zavad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Oved,
38 And Oved begat Yahu, and Yahu begat Azaryahu,
39 And Azaryahu begat Chelets, and Chelets begat El'asah,
40 And El'asah begat Cicmai, and Cicmai begat Shallum,
41 And Shallum begat Yeqamyah, and Yeqamyah begat Eliyshama.
42 Now the sons of Kalev the brother of Yerachme'el were, Meysha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziyph; and the sons of Mar'eshah the father of Chevron.
43 And the sons of Chevron; Qorach, and Tappuach, and Reqem, and Shema.
44 And Shema begat Racham, the father of Yorqo'am. and Reqem begat Shammai.
45 And the son of Shammai was Ma'on: and Ma'on was the father of Beyt Tsur.
46 And Eyphah, Kalev's concubine, bore Haran, and Motsa, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.
47 And the sons of Yahdai; Regem, and Yotham, and Geyshan, and Pelet, and Eyphah, and Sha`aph.
48 Ma`akah, Kalev's concubine, bore Shever, and Tirchanah,
49 She bore also Sha`aph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Makbena, and the father of Giv`a: and the daughter of Kalev was Akcah.
50 These were the sons of Kalev the son of Chur, the firstborn of Ephrathah; Shoval the father of Qiryat Ye'ariym,
51 Salma the father of Beyt Lechem, Chareph the father of Beyt-Gader.
52 And Shoval the father of Qiryat Ye'ariym had sons; Ro'eh, and Chatsiy Ham-Manuchoth.
53 And the families of Qiryat Ye'ariym; the Yithriym, and the Puthiym, and the Shumathiym, and the Mishra'iym; of them came the Tsor'iym, and the Eshta'uliym.
54 The sons of Salma; Beyt Lechem, and the Netophathiym, Ataroth, the house of Yo'av, and Chatsiy Ham-Manuchoth, the Tsor'iym.
55 And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Ya'bets; the Tir'athiym, the Shim'athiym, and Sukathiym. These are the Qiyniyim that came of Chamath, the father of the house of Rekav.
