¹ SO King Shalomah was king over all Yashar'el.

² And these were the princes which he had; Azaryahu the son of Tsadoq the priest,

³ Eliychoreph and Achiyahu, the sons of Shiysha, scribes; Yahushaphat the son of Achiylud, the recorder.

⁴ And Benayahu the son of Yahuyada was over the host: and Tsadoq and Avyathar were the priests:

⁵ And Azaryahu the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zavud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend:

⁶ And Achiyshar was over the household: and Adoniyram the son of Avda was over the tribute.

⁷ And Shalomah had twelve officers over all Yashar'el, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

⁸ And these are their names: Ben-Chur, in Mount Ephrayim:

⁹ Ben-Deqer, in Maqats, and in Sha`alabbiyn, and Beyt Shemesh, and Eylon Beyt Chanan:

¹⁰ Ben-Checed, in Arubboth; to him pertained Sokoh, and all the land of Chepher:

¹¹ Ben-Aviynadav, in all the region of Do'r; which had Taphath the daughter of Shalomah as his woman:

¹² Ba`ana the son of Achiylud; to him pertained Ta`anak and Megiddo, and all Beyt Sha'an, which is by Tsartanah beneath Yizre'el, from Beyt Sha'an to Avel Mecholah, even unto the place that is beyond Yoqne`am:

¹³ Ben-Gever, in Ra'moth Gil'ad; to him pertained the towns of Ya'iyr the son of Menashsheh, which are in Gil'ad; to him also pertained the region of Argov, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:

¹⁴ Achiynadav the son of Iddo had Machanayim:

¹⁵ Achiyma`ats was in Naphtaliy; he also took Basmath the daughter of Shalomah to be his woman:

¹⁶ Ba`anah the son of Chushai was in Asher and in Ba`aloth:

¹⁷ Yahushaphat the son of PaRuach, in Yisshakar:

¹⁸ Shim`iy the son of Elah, in Binyamiyn:

¹⁹ Gever the son of Uriy was in the country of Gil`ad, in the country of Ciychon king of the Emoriym, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.

²⁰ Yahudah and Yashar'el were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.
