A seguir o sacerdote fará a mulher jurar e lhe dirá: ‘Se não é verdade que algum homem se deitou contigo e que te desviaste e que te tornaste impura, enquanto sob a autoridade de teu marido, que estas águas amargas e de maldição te sejam inofensivas!

E o sacerdote a acusará, com um juramento, e dirá a ela: Se nenhum homem se deitou contigo, e se não te desviaste para a imundície com outro, em vez de teu esposo, estarás livre desta água amarga, que provoca a maldição.

Mandá-la-á jurar que está inocente e dir-lhe-á: ‘Se mais nenhum homem dormiu contigo além do teu marido, ficarás livre dos efeitos desta água amarga que te trará maldição.

The cohen will make her swear by saying to her, “If no man has gone to bed with you, if you have not gone astray to make yourself unclean while under your husband’s authority, then be free from this water of embitterment and cursing.

And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:

E esconjurará a mulher nestes termos: se nenhum homem dormiu contigo, e tu não te manchaste abandonando o leito de teu marido, não te façam mal estas águas que trazem maldição.

A seguir o sacerdote fará a mulher jurar e lhe dirá: "Se não é verdade que algum homem se deitou contigo e que te desviaste e que te tornaste impura, enquanto sob o domínio de teu marido, que estas águas amargas e de maldição te sejam inofensivas!

And he shall conjure her, and say, If an alien man slept not with thee, and if thou art not defouled in forsaking the bed of thine husband, these bitter waters shall not harm thee, into which I have gathered together curses; (And he shall adjure her, and say, If thou hath not slept with a stranger, and if thou art not defiled by forsaking thy husband’s bed, then this most bitter water, into which I shall gather together curses, shall not harm thee;)
