Pelo que assim declara Yahweh a Jerusalém: “Eis que defenderei a tua causa e vingarei a tua vingança sobre todas as malignidades que sofreste; secarei o mar da Babilônia e extinguirei suas fontes de água potável!

Portanto assim diz o Senhor: Eis que eu pleitearei a tua causa, e vingarei por ti. Eu irei secar o seu mar, e farei as suas nascentes secarem.
