O fogo, pois, sempre arderá sobre o altar, não se apagará; mas o sacerdote acenderá lenha nele cada manhã, e sobre ele porá em ordem o holocausto, e sobre ele queimará a gordura das ofertas pacíficas.

And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

And the fire upon the altar shall be kept burning thereon, it shall not go out; and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning: and he shall lay the burnt offering in order upon it, and shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

Forsooth [the] fire shall burn ever[more] in the altar, which fire the priest shall nourish, putting wood under (it), in the morrowtide by each day; and when [the] burnt sacrifice is put above, the priest shall burn the inner fatness of peaceable things. (And the fire shall burn forevermore on the altar, which fire the priest shall nourish, putting wood under it, each day in the morning; and when the burnt sacrifice is put on it, then the priest shall burn the inner fat of the peace offering on top of it.)

"Enquanto isso, o fogo do altar tem de continuar aceso. Cada manhã o sacerdote porá lenha no altar, mantendo o fogo aceso. E porá no altar a oferta queimada e queimará nele a gordura dos sacrifícios pacíficos.
