E, este será o sinal que darei a ti, Isaías: ‘Neste ano comereis do que crescer espontaneamente do solo; no ano seguinte o que brotar disso, mas no terceiro ano semeai e colhei, plante vinhas e comei de seus frutos,

Então Deus disse a Ezequias: “Esta será a prova em como sou eu mesmo quem está a libertar a vossa cidade das mãos do rei da Assíria: Ainda este ano ele levantará o cerco e, mesmo que seja já demasiado tarde para a sementeira, o grão que nasceu espontaneamente neste outono dar-te-á bastante semente para obteres uma colheita reduzida no próximo ano. Daqui a dois anos já poderão semear e ceifar o vosso trigo, e plantar vinhas e fazer a vindima.
