And that again God will have mercy on them, and bring them again into the land, where they shall build a temple, but not like to the first, until the time of that age be fulfilled; and afterward they shall return from all places of their captivity, and build up Jerusalem gloriously, and the house of God shall be built in it for ever with a glorious building, as the prophets have spoken thereof.

And God shall again have mercy on them, and bring them back into the land, [4] and they shall build the house, but [5] not like to the former house, until the times of that age be fulfilled; and [6] afterward they shall return from the places of their captivity, and build up Jerusalem with honour, and the house of God shall be built in it for ever with a glorious building, even as the prophets spake concerning it.

Quando veio a hora de sua morte, chamou à sua presença o seu filho Tobias, com os sete filhos deste e disse-lhes:

Depois, de novo Deus terá compaixão deles e os reconduzirá à terra de Israel. Eles reconstruirão sua Casa, menos bela que a primeira, até estarem completos os tempos. Mas então, voltando do cativeiro, todos reconstruirão Jerusalém em seu esplendor, e nela a Casa de Deus será reerguida, como o anunciaram os profetas de Israel.

Porém, Deus mais uma vez terá compaixão do seu povo e o fará voltar para a terra de Israel. O povo construirá de novo o templo, mas o novo templo não será tão bonito como o primeiro. Sê-lo-á quando chegar o tempo certo. Então todos voltarão do cativeiro, e construirão de novo a cidade de Jerusalém com toda a sua beleza. Conforme os profetas de Israel anunciaram, o templo de Deus será construído de novo.
