And when I was in mine own country, in the land of Israel being but young, all the tribe of Nephthali my father fell from the house of Jerusalem, which was chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, that all the tribes should sacrifice there, where the temple of the habitation of the most High was consecrated and built for all ages.

Eu ainda era criança e morava em Israel, a minha terra. Nessa época a tribo inteira de Neftali, à qual eu pertenço, revoltou-se contra os reis que eram descendentes de David [1] . E também rejeitou Jerusalém como a cidade escolhida por Deus para que nela todas as tribos de Israel oferecessem sacrifícios. Era ali onde o templo, a casa de Deus, tinha sido construído e dedicado ao seu serviço para sempre.
