And [13] Joakim the high priest, and [14] the senate of the children of Israel that dwelt in Jerusalem, came to behold the good things which the Lord had shewed to Israel, and to see Judith, and to salute her.

Enfim, aqueles que voltaram vitoriosos para Betúlia, trouxeram consigo tudo o que pertencera aos assírios, um numeroso rebanho, grande quantidade de material e de animais de carga; e assim todos, desde o maior até o menor, se enriqueceram com seus despojos.
