But the children of Israel returned from the slaughter, and gat possession of that which remained; and the villages and the cities, that were in the hill country and in the plain country, took many spoils: for there was an exceeding great store.

Entretanto, os que tinham ficado em Betúlia, entraram no acampamento dos assírios e levaram um enorme despojo deixado pelo inimigo em sua fuga.

Os filhos de Israel, voltando do massacre, assenhorearam-se do resto. Os habitantes das aldeias e dos lugarejos da montanha e da planície apoderaram-se de um copioso espólio, pois era abundante.

And the residue men, or the remnant, of the sons of Israel, that were left in the city of Bethulia, entered into the tents of (the) Assyrians, and took away with them the prey, which (the) Assyrians fleeing (away) had left, and (the) men of Israel were greatly charged with chattel. [The tother men forsooth, that were in Bethulia, went into the tents of Assyrians, and the prey, that Assyrians fleeing had left, they took with them, and they be worshipped greatly.]

And the children of Yashar'el that returned from the slaughter had that which remained; and the villages and the cities, that were in the mountains and in the plain, got many spoils: for the multitude was very great.
