Thus went it with Nicanor: and from that time forth the Hebrews had the city in their power. And here will I make an end.

THIS then having been the issue of the attempt of Nicanor, and the city having from those times been held by [58] the Hebrews, I also will here make an end of my book.

Assim se desenrolaram os acontecimentos relativos a Nicanor, e já que a partir dessa época Jerusalém permaneceu em poder dos hebreus, finalizarei aqui minha narração.
