And with hailstones of mighty power he made the battle to fall violently upon the nations, and in the descent of Beth-horon he destroyed them that resisted, that the nations might know all their strength, because he fought in the sight of the Lord, and he followed the Mighty One.

[10] With hailstones of mighty power He caused war to break violently upon the nation, And [11] in the going down he destroyed them that resisted; That the nations might know his [12] armour, How that he fought in the sight of the Lord; For he followed after the Mighty One.

Ele invocou o Altíssimo todo-poderoso, atacando os inimigos de todos os lados: o Deus grande e santo o atendeu com uma chuva de pedras de grande força.
