O death, acceptable is thy sentence unto the needy, and unto him whose strength faileth, that is now in the last age, and is vexed with all things, and to him that despaireth, and hath lost patience!

O death, [2] acceptable is thy sentence unto a man that is needy, and that faileth in strength, [3] That is in extreme old age, and is distracted about all things, And is perverse, and [4] hath lost patience!

A! death, thy doom (or thy judgement) is good to a needy man, and which is made less in strengths, and faileth for age, and to whom is care of all things, and unbelieveful, that loseth (or that destroyeth) wisdom.
