e sim a alma (viva), por mais acabrunhada que esteja de tristeza, aquele que caminha curvado e esfalfado, o olhar desfalecido, e a alma a penar de fome - estes vos rendem glória e louvam a vossa justiça, ó Senhor.[*]

Mas o ser vivo,[l] embora cumulado de aflição, o que caminha curvado e enfraquecido, com o olhar desfalecido e a alma faminta,[m] eis quem te renderá glória e justiça, ó Senhor.

but a soul which is sorry on the greatness of evil, and goeth bowed, and sick (or feeble), and eyes failing, and an hungry soul, giveth glory to thee, and rightfulness to the Lord. [but the soul that is sorry upon the muchliness of evil, and goeth bowed, and meeked, and the eyes failing, and the soul hungering, giveth to thee glory, and rightwiseness, Lord.]
