Wherefore immediately he sent to the cities upon the sea coast, proclaiming a sale of the captive Jews, and promising that they should have fourscore and ten bodies for one talent, not expecting the vengeance that was to follow upon him from the Almighty God.

And immediately he sent unto the cities upon the sea coast, [21] inviting them to buy Jewish [22] slaves, promising to allow fourscore and ten [23] slaves for a talent, not expecting the judgement that was to follow upon him from the Almighty.

Enviou sem perda de tempo, às cidades da costa, o convite para que viessem comprar judeus, prometendo entregar noventa escravos por um talento. Mas não suspeitava então de que o castigo do Todo-poderoso iria cair sobre ele.

Sem demora, por isso, mandou mensageiros às cidades do litoral, convidando-as a virem comprar escravos judeus, chegando a prometer noventa cabeças por um talento. É que ele não contava com o castigo que deveria alcançá-lo da parte do Todo-poderoso.

And anon (or at once) he sent to (the) cites of the sea coast, and called together to (or for) even-buying of (the) prisoners, or of (the) bondmen, of (the) Jews; and promised, that he shall sell ninety bondmen for a talent, not beholding to the vengeance that should (pur)sue him of Almighty God (or not expecting the vengeance that would follow him from Almighty God). [And anon he sent to cities of the sea coast, calling together to even-buying of bond men of Jews; promising him to selling ninety bondmen for one talent, not beholding to vengeance that was to following him of the Almighty.]
