It came to pass also, that seven brethren with their mother were taken, and compelled by the king against the law to taste swine's flesh, and were tormented with scourges and whips.

And it came to pass that seven brethren also with their mother were at the king's command taken and shamefully handled with scourges and cords, to compel them to taste of [1] the abominable swine's flesh.

Havia também sete irmãos que foram um dia presos com sua mãe, e que o rei por meio de golpes de azorrage e de nervos de boi, quis coagir a comerem a proibida carne de porco.[*]
