8 In the end therefore he had an unhappy return, being accused before Aretas the king of the Arabians, fleeing from city to city, pursued of all men, hated as a forsaker of the laws, and being had in abomination as an open enemy of his country and countrymen, he was cast out into Egypt.
8 At the last therefore he met with a miserable end: having been [13]shut up at the court of [14]Aretas the prince of the [15]Arabians, fleeing from city to city, pursued of all men, hated [16]as an apostate from the laws, and held in abomination as the butcher of his country and his fellow-citizens, he was cast forth into Egypt;
8 And at the last into (the) undoing of him, he was closed together of Aretas (or he was accused before Aretas), (the) tyrant of (the) Arabians, and flew [or fleeing] from city into city, and was odious to all men, as (an) apostate, or (a) forsaker of (the) laws, and abominable, as (an) enemy of (his) country and citizens, and was cast out into Egypt.
8 And at the last into undoing of him, he was enclosed altogether of Aretas, tyrant of Arabians, and flew [or fleeing] from city into city, and was odious to all men, as apostate, or forsaker of laws, and abominable, as enemy of country and citizens, and was cast out into Egypt.
8 In the end therefore he had an unhappy return, being accused before Aretas the king of the Araviym, fleeing from city to city, pursued of all men, hated as a forsaker of the Torah, and being had in abomination as an open enemy of his country and countrymen, he was cast out into Mitsrayim.
