And [3] having cleansed the sanctuary [4] they made another altar of sacrifice; and [5] striking stones and taking fire out of them, they offered sacrifices, after they had ceased for two years, [6] and burned incense, and lighted lamps, and set forth the shewbread.

Após terem purificado o templo, erigiram um outro altar dos perfumes; utilizaram uma pedra para tirar faíscas das quais eles se serviram para oferecer os sacrifícios, após dois anos de interrupção; queimaram o incenso, acenderam as lâmpadas e recolocaram os pães da proposição.

Depois, tendo purificado o Santuário, levantaram outro altar para os holocaustos. E logo, extraindo a centelha das pedras, tomaram do fogo resultante e ofereceram sacrifícios, após uma interrupção de dois anos. Queimaram também o incenso, acenderam as lâmpadas e fizeram a apresentação dos pães.
