Who, when they saw the host coming to meet them, said unto Judas, How shall we be able, being so few, to fight against so great a multitude and so strong, seeing we are ready to faint with fasting all this day?

But when they saw the army coming to meet them, they said unto Judas, What? shall we be able, being a small company, to fight against so great and strong a multitude? and we for our part are faint, having tasted no food this day.

Mas à vista do exército que vinha contra eles, os companheiros de Judas disseram-lhe: Como poderemos enfrentar tamanho exército, se somos tão poucos, tanto mais que nos sentimos fracos, porque hoje nada temos comido?

Ao verem aquele exército que marchava contra eles, disseram a Judas os seus homens: "Como poderemos nós, tão poucos, enfrentar multidão tão grande e poderosa? Além disso, estamos extenuados, não tendo comido nada hoje!"
