Wherefore we have ratified unto them the borders of Judea, with the three governments of Apherema and Lydda and Ramathem, that are added unto Judea from the country of Samaria, and all things appertaining unto them, for all such as do sacrifice in Jerusalem, instead of the payments which the king received of them yearly aforetime out of the fruits of the earth and of trees.

We have confirmed therefore unto them the borders of Judæa, and also [36] the three governments of Aphærema and [37] Lydda and [38] Ramathaim ( these were added unto Judæa from the country of Samaria), and all things appertaining unto them, for all such as do sacrifice in Jerusalem, instead of the king's dues which the king received of them yearly aforetime [39] from the produce of the earth and the fruits of trees.

Confirmamos-lhes, pois, a posse dos territórios da Judéia e dos três distritos de Aferema, de Lida e Ramata, arrebatados da Samaria, para serem anexados à Judéia; e todos os seus lucros pertencerão aos que sacrificam em Jerusalém, em lugar do tributo que a cada ano o rei cobrava dos frutos da terra e das árvores.

Nós lhes confirmamos a posse do território da Judéia bem como dos três distritos de Aferema, Lida e Ramataim.[n] Esses distritos, com todas as suas dependências, foram anexados da Samaria à Judéia, em favor de todos os que oferecem sacrifícios em Jerusalém, em compensação pelos impostos que o rei aí recolhia outrora, cada ano, dos produtos da terra e dos frutos das árvores.

Therefor we ordained to them, all the coasts of Judea, and (the) three cities of offerings [or and three cities], Lydda, and Ramathaim, and Apherema, that be added to Judea, and Samaria (or from Samaria), and all the nigh coast of them, for to be sequestered, or parted, to all men doing sacrifice in Jerusalem, for these things that the king took before of them by all years, and for (the) fruits of the earth, and of apples (or to replace the things that the king received before from them yearly, or annually, out of the fruits of the earth, and of the trees).

Confirmamos-lhes o território da Judeia e três distritos de Efraim, Lida e Ramataim. Esses distritos, bem como os seus arredores que faziam parte da Samaria, mas foram acrescentados à Judeia, para benefício de todos os que oferecerem sacrifícios em Jerusalém, em contrapartida dos impostos anuais que o rei anteriormente recebia deles sobre os produtos das plantações e das árvores frutíferas.
