Therefore even upon the idols of the Gentiles shall there be a visitation: because in the creature of God they are become an abomination, and stumblingblocks to the souls of men, and a snare to the feet of the unwise.

[15] Therefore also [16] among the idols of the nations shall there be a visitation,Because, though formed of things which God created, they were made [17] an abomination, And stumbling blocks to the souls of men, [18] And a snare to the feet of the foolish.

Por isso, Deus castigará também os ídolos dos povos pagãos, porque, mesmo que tenham sido feitos de materiais que Deus criou, esses ídolos sempre foram objetos abomináveis. Além disso, serviram de escândalo para os humanos e de armadilha para os insensatos.
