10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
10 [13]Forsake not an old friend; For the new is not comparable to him: As new wine, so is a new friend; [14]If it became old, thou shalt drink it with gladness.
10 Toda mulher que se entrega à devassidão é como o esterco que se pisa na estrada.
10 Não abandones um velho amigo, visto que o novo não é igual a ele. Vinho novo, amigo novo; deixa-o envelhecer, e o beberás com prazer.
10 Work thou busily, whatever thing thine hand may do; for neither work, neither reason, nor knowing, nor wisdom, shall be at hells, whither thou hastest. (Busily work thou, at whatever thy hands can do; for neither work, nor reason, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, be in the land of the dead, where thou hastenest.)
10 Forsake thou not an eld [or old] friend; for a new friend shall not be like him. New wine is like a new friend; it shall wax eld [or old], and thou shalt drink it with sweetness.
10 Forsake not an old friend; for the new is not comparable to him: a new friend is as new wine; when it is old, you shall drink it with pleasure.
