Remember thy father and thy mother, when thou sittest among great men. Be not forgetful before them, and so thou by thy custom become a fool, and wish that thou hadst not been born, and curse they day of thy nativity.

Lembra-te de teu pai e de tua mãe quando te achares no meio dos grandes, para que não te esqueças de ti mesmo na sua presença[e] e, pelo hábito, não te tornes estulto, não desejes não ter nascido e não maldigas o dia do teu nascimento.

Lest peradventure God forget thee in the sight of them; and lest thou made a fool by thus customableness, suffer shame, either scorning [or and through thy busyness greatly made (a) fool, reproof thou suffer], and haddest rather to be not born, and curse the day of thy birth.
