[28] Wherefore let us wait for the salvation that cometh from him, and call upon him to help us, and he will hear our voice, [29] if it please him.

Roguemos ao Senhor com lágrimas que nos conceda a sua misericórdia como lhe aprouver, para que, assim como se perturbou o nosso coração com o orgulho de nossos inimigos, do mesmo modo encontremos glória em nossa humilhação.

Por isso, esperando pacientemente a salvação dele, invoquemo-lo em nosso socorro. Ele ouvirá a nossa voz, se for do seu agrado.[t]
