And Judith said unto him, And who am I, that I should gainsay my lord? for whatsoever shall be pleasing in his eyes I will do speedily, and this shall be my joy unto the day of my death.

Farei tudo o que parecer bom e melhor aos seus olhos; o que mais lhe agradar, isso será também para mim o melhor durante toda a minha vida.

Respondeu-lhe Judite: "Quem sou eu para opor-me ao meu Senhor? Tudo o que for agradável aos seus olhos eu o farei e isto será para mim motivo de alegria até o dia de minha morte."

I shall do all (the) thing(s), that shall be good and best before his eyes. And whatever thing pleaseth him, this thing shall be best to (or for) me in all the days of my life. [All thing, that shall be before his eyes good and best, I shall do. Whatever forsooth to him should please, that to me shall be best all the days of my life.]
