The Agarenes that seek wisdom upon earth, the merchants of Meran and of Theman, the authors of fables, and searchers out of understanding; none of these have known the way of wisdom, or remember her paths.

The [26] sons also of Agar that seek understanding, which are in the land, the merchants of [27] Merran and [28] Teman, and the authors of fables, and the searchers out of understanding; none of these have known the way of wisdom, or remembered her paths.

Mesmo os filhos de Agar, à procura de prudência terrestre, e os negociantes de Madiã e Temã, os amigos de provérbios e os desejosos de prudência, não puderam conhecer o caminho da sabedoria, nem dela obter informações sobre sua pista.
