And they said, Behold, we have sent you money to buy you burnt offerings, and sin offerings, and incense, and prepare ye manna, and offer upon the altar of the Lord our God;

And they said, [18] Behold, we have sent you money; buy you therefore with the money [19] burnt offerings, and sin offerings, and incense, and prepare [20] an oblation, and offer upon the altar of the Lord our God;

Eis o que escreveram: servi-vos do dinheiro que vos enviamos, a fim de comprar vítimas para os holocaustos, os sacrifícios expiatórios, e para o incenso. Preparai também oferendas que poreis sobre o altar do Senhor, nosso Deus.

Eis o que escreveram: Estamos enviando-vos dinheiro. Com o montante comprai vítimas para os holocaustos e oblações pelo pecado, além de incenso. Preparai as oferendas e apresentai-as sobre o altar do Senhor nosso Deus.

And they said, Lo! we have sent to you riches, of which buy ye burnt sacrifices, and incense, and make ye sacrifice, and offer ye for sin at the altar of your Lord God. [And they said, Lo! we have sent to you monies, of which buyeth burnt sacrifice(s), and incense, and maketh manna, and offereth for sin at the altar of the Lord our God.]

And they said, Lo! we have sent to you riches [or monies], of which buy ye burnt sacrifices, and incense, and make ye sacrifice, and offer ye for sin at the altar of your Lord God [or the Lord our God].

Juntamente com o dinheiro enviaram a seguinte carta: «Mandamo-vos este dinheiro para pagar as despesas dos sacrifícios que serão completamente queimados e dos sacrifícios para tirar pecados e também para comprar incenso. Preparem as ofertas de cereais e apresentem-nas no altar ao nosso Deus.
