After this went Nicanor up to mount Sion, and there came out of the sanctuary certain of the priests and certain of the elders of the people, to salute him peaceably, and to shew him the burnt sacrifice that was offered for the king.

And after these things Nicanor went up to mount Sion: and [30] there came some of the priests out of the sanctuary, and some of the elders of the people, to salute him peaceably, and to shew him the whole burnt sacrifice that was being offered [31] for the king.

Após o combate, subiu Nicanor a colina de Sião, e sacerdotes saíram do templo com anciãos do povo, para saudá-lo em espírito de paz, e mostrar-lhe o holocausto que se oferecia pelo rei,

Depois dessas ocorrências, Nicanor subiu ao monte Sião. Alguns dos sacerdotes e dos anciãos do povo saíram do lugar santo para saudá-lo amigavelmente e mostrar-lhe o holocausto que se oferecia pelo rei.

And after these words Nicanor ascended or went up into the hill of Zion, and there went out of (the Temple some) priests of the people, for to greet him in peace, and for to show to him (the) burnt sacrifices, that were offered for the king.
