And when he saw that mighty army, he prayed and said, Blessed art thou, O Saviour of Israel, who didst quell the violence of the mighty man by the hand of thy servant David, and gavest the host of strangers into the hands of Jonathan the son of Saul, and his armourbearer;

And he saw that the army was strong, and he prayed and said, Blessed art thou, O Saviour of Israel, who didst quell the onset of the mighty man [19] by the hand of thy servant David, and didst deliver the army of the [20] Philistines [21] into the hands of Jonathan the son of Saul, and of his armourbearer:

Tendo ante os olhos esse poderoso exército, rezou nestes termos: Sede bendito, Salvador de Israel, vós que quebrastes a força do poderoso pela mão do vosso servo Davi e entregastes os exércitos estrangeiros nas mãos de Jônatas e do seu escudeiro.

Ao ver tão poderoso exército, ele orou dizendo: "Tu és bendito, ó Salvador de Israel, tu que esmagaste o ímpeto de um gigante pela mão do teu servo Davi e entregaste o acampamento dos filisteus às mãos de Jônatas, filho de Saul, e do seu escudeiro.

And they saw (the) strong host, and he prayed, and said, Blessed art thou, (O) Saviour of Israel, that hast all-broken the fierceness of the mighty Goliath in (or by) the hand of thy servant David, and betookest the castles [or tents], or (the) hosts, of (the) aliens into the hands of Jonathan, son of Saul, and of his squire.

And they saw [a] strong host, and he prayed, and said, Blessed art thou, Saviour of Israel, that hast all-broken the fierceness of the mighty Goliath in the hand of thy servant David, and betookest the castles [or tents], or hosts , of aliens into the hands of Jonathan, son of Saul, and of his squire.

Quando viu o enorme exército de Lísias, orou assim: «Bendito sejas, ó Salvador de Israel, tu que destruíste o ímpeto do poderoso gigante pela mão do teu servo David e entregaste o acampamento filisteu nas mãos de Jónatas, filho de Saul, e do rapaz que carregava as suas armas.
