And whosoever they be that flee unto the temple at Jerusalem, or be within the liberties hereof, being indebted unto the king, or for any other matter, let them be at liberty, and all that they have in my realm.

And whosoever shall flee unto the temple that is at Jerusalem, and be found within all the borders thereof, whether one owe moneys to the king, or any other matter, let them go free, and all that they have in my kingdom.

Todo aquele que se refugiar no templo de Jerusalém ou no seu recinto, por motivo de dívida ao fisco, ou por qualquer coisa que seja, será poupado, bem como tudo o que ele possui no meu reino.

E todos aqueles que, sendo devedores de impostos reais ou de qualquer outra obrigação, procurarem refúgio no Templo de Jerusalém ou em qualquer das suas dependências, sejam deixados livres: eles pessoalmente e todos os seus haveres dentro do meu reino.
